Pay attention, please: naturalmente stiam qui parlando del brand che del magnifico creatore di moda porta il nome unito all’impronta indelebile della sua visione di stile, ma la cui direzione creativa è affidata e superbamente orchestrata da Bill Gaytten, che di quel mondo immaginifico denso di sartorialità, sofisticatezza e arditezza, distilla oggi un’essenza squisita.
La collezione p/e 2017, andata in scena durante la settimana della moda parigina, sorge da un’ispirazione per nulla funambolica, come aspettative abitudinarie richiederebbero, ma non per questo meno intrigante: anzi, è del tutto affascinante l’atmosfera suggerita che narra di una giovane fanciulla alle prese con un baule dei ricordi di famiglia, ricco di abiti dismessi e cimeli decorativi sparsi per epoche, generazioni e generi, testimoni di vite vissute con pienezza che solleticano la curiosità candida e giocosa ad essere riscoperti.

Pay attention, please: obviously we’re talking about the brand whose name belongs to the brilliant fashion designer together whit his unmistakable style vision, but whose creative direction is optimally entrusted to Bill Gaytten, who starts from that visionary world rich in tailoring, sophistication and hardihood and distills a very exquisite essence out f it.
The s/s 2017 collection, shown during the last Paris fashion week, arises from an inspiration that is not acrobatic at all, yet it is still very intriguing: or rather, it offers a very fascinating atmosphere telling a story about a young girl stumbling into a trunk full of family memories, rich in castoffs and ornamental relics scattered over different ages, generations and genders, witnesses of past fully experienced lives that now titillate the candid and playful curiosity of being worn again.
Without any reverence: yet by the amused nonchalance of a young girl that creates some blends that can be naive in their appearance, but that are very stylish in their substance: she takes over the masculine attitude of jackets with unusual treatments and of oversize trousers, once made gentle thanks to a light white blouse, then strengthen by a sporty intention or presented in a wide stripes motif recalling a sailor but that are rolled down to show the waistband of some lacy underwear; she also experiments some military long johns, while, as an unexpected paradox, she increases her femininity.
Which is dressed in laces and precious embroideries shaped into light, fluent and flirty dresses, recalling the 1930s model that is the signature of the griffe: impalpable creations made of tulle and chiffon, that within a profusion of delicacy and games of transparencies, exhibit the lingerie, as a suggestion of innocence and freshness.
