Il libro in uscita “TYBALT” di Richard Gerst (edito da Silas Finch) presenta tre personaggi principali in una reinterpretazione della storia di Romeo e Giulietta. Qui incontriamo Giulietta, interpretata da Britt Linn (RED Model Management, New York) con alcune immagini scattate dietro le quinte, di cui tre realizzate durante il suo casting iniziale con Gerst.
La prima immagine è stata però scattata da (ed è di proprietà di) Nick Ayler, che interpreta il personaggio che da il titolo al progetto, mentre entrambi stavano interpretando il loro ruolo. . . e mentre Gerst li stava immortalando proprio per il libro.

Here we meet Juliet, played by Britt Linn (RED Model Management, New York) with behind the scenes images, including three from her initial casting with Gerst.
The first image above was shot and is owned by Nick Ayler, who plays the Tybalt who gives the title to the project, while both were in character . . . and while Gerst was shooting them for the book.So after having seen the beautiful and evocative trailer for the book (see it again here), I introduce you a new Juliet: Britt Linn.

Richard had this to say about finding Juliet:
“Quando ho iniziato la pre-produzione per il mio libro “TYBALT” nei primi mesi del 2013, sapevo che riuscire a trovare la ragazza perfetta per interpretare Giulietta sarebbe stato difficile. Avevo già effettuato alcuni casting e un paio di ragazze si erano avvicinate a quello che io immaginavo, ma poi ho incontrato Britt Linn. Britt era quella che davanti alla macchina fotografica riusciva a dare di più da un punto di vista emozionale, e il suo aspetto era proprio giusto!
Calzava perfettamente con quello che avevo in mente: una privilegiata ragazza dell’Upper East Side, ma sensibile, con qualcosa in più. Oltre a questo Britt ha capito immediatamente il progetto e ne è rimasta intrigata. E così ha ottenuto la parte. Dopo aver visto i risultati finali sono certo di aver fatto la scelta giusta. Britt è stata semplicemente fantastica. TRUE LOVE per Britt Linn!”
“When I began pre-production in early 2013 for my book “TYBALT”, I knew finding the right Juliet was critical. I had performed some castings and a couple of women came close, but then I met Britt Linn. Britt was the most emotionally giving on camera, and her look was right on target.
It fit what I had in mind: the privileged yet sensitive upper east side girl – with an edge. Furthermore, Britt Linn immediately understood and was intrigued by the project. She just got it. After reviewing the results, it is clear I made the right choice. She was simply amazing. TRUE LOVE for Britt Linn!”
Britt Linn (@RED Model Management), mi ha raccontato questo della sua esperienza sul set del progetto “TYBALT”:
“Appena ho incontrato Richard e discusso il ruolo di Giulietta mi sono innamorata, lei è una donna ancora indipendente, sensibile e mi sono subito sentita vicina a quello che provava. Quando si inizia un progetto che scava in profondità come questo, è importante sentire una connessione, un legame con tutte le persone coinvolte ed è stato così con Richard, così come con Nick e Dionisio (Tebaldo e Romeo nella storia, ndr). Lavorare con questa squadra è stata un’esperienza straordinaria e ci siamo sentiti davvero legati, e credo che risulterà molto evidente nella pubblicazione.
Ho iniziato a lavorare con Richard in “TYBALT” esattamente quando ho cominciato a lavorare come modella nell’estate 2013, ed è stato uno dei momenti più iportanti per decidere che questa era una scelta di carriera per la quale avrei voluto rischiare e mi ha dato speranza che altri progetti incredibili come questo possano arrivare in futuro.”

“As soon as I met Richard and discussed the role of Juliet I fell in love- she’s a sensitive yet independent woman and I really related to that. When starting a project as in depth as this, it’s important to feel a connection with everyone involved and that was definitely the case with Richard and I, as well as with Nick and Dionisio. Working with this team was an amazing experience and we all felt a connection, and I think that will be very apparent in the publication.
I started working with Richard on TYBALT when I first began modeling in the summer of ’13, and it was one of the defining moments that helped me decide this was definitely the career choice I would risk nearly everything for, and keeps me hopeful for amazing projects like this to arise again in the future.”
